 Maroon 5's number one hit this week, "One More Night," made the top five charts on iTunes.Maroon 5 have been in the music business since 1994. The band consists of Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, and Matt Flynn. Maroon 5 is an American pop-rock band from Los Angeles, California. They started out as a garage band and named themselves, "Kara's Flowers". In 1997 Maroon 5 had released their first album, and eventually the band members went their separate ways for college. Maroon 5 reformed in 2002 and released their debut album Songs About Jane. Their number one hit at the time had been "She Will Be Loved," from the Songs About Jane album. Between 2003 and 2005, the band had been touring through the states, and received a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2005. The band had released two new albums during their tour. 

In the past 3 years, Maroon 5 has released two new albums. The two albums were "Hands All Over," which was released in September of 2010, and "Overexposed," which was released in June of 2012. Since the beginning of the summer of 2012, Maroon 5 has released three big hits on the iTunes charts. "Moves Like Jagger," "Payphone," and "One More Night". The band has sold over 10 million albums in the United States, and with just "Moves Like Jagger," alone, over 8 million copies were sold. "One More Night," was released on June 19, of 2012.
