Taylor Swift's number one hit this week, "Never Ever Getting Back Together," made #1 this week on iTunes. Taylor Swift has been involved in country music since she was fourteen years old! She moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her dream of singing country music. By 2006, Taylor Swift had signed a record deal with Big Machine Records, and became the youngest songwriter hired by ATV Music. By 2008, with her 2006 hit "Our Song", Taylor received the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. In 2010 Taylor had come out with her album "Speak Now", and within the first week she had sold over one million copies. By 2012, Taylor had come out with her new single hit "Never Ever Getting Back Together" which quickly rose to #1 on the iTunes top 10 chart.

Taylor Swift's new song "Never Ever Getting Back Together" in my opinion is the worst song I have heard in a long time. I'm use to her usual "Love Story" songs, but this one was just out of her range. She usually writes songs that are uplifting but this song was just out there and awful. There's really no point to the song in my opinion. The lyrics are repetitive and quite annoying. I think the music in the background can be catchy, but the lyrics really don't flow.
